The Moncton Kennel Club is proud to offer an annual Eye Clinic to make this important testing accessible to our members and the local dog community.
Our 2026 clinic was held on May 29 & 30, with space graciously donated by Adeline Animal Hospital, 293 High St, Moncton, NB E1C 6C1. We tested over 200 dogs in the 2-day clinic!
Health testing is a vital part of responsible dog breeding and long-term canine health. Regular eye examinations help identify inherited and developmental eye conditions that may not be visible during routine veterinary visits, allowing breeders to make informed decisions and owners to better understand their dog’s health. This clinic offers CAER (Companion Animal Eye Registry) eye examinations through the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals (OFA) and is performed by Dr. Michel Carrier DMV, M. Sc., Dip. ACVO. Owners are encouraged to be present in the exam room during the examination.
