Training Tuesday sessions are held on Tuesday evenings at the Lutz Mountain Heritage Centre and are open to members and non-members. These drop-in sessions provide structured practice time in a supportive, welcoming environment.

Cost: $15 per evening (per handler), or $10 for Moncton Kennel Club members.

Location: Lutz Mountain Heritage Museum & Meeting House, 3143 Mountain Rd, Moncton, NB E1G 2X1

Conformation (6:30–7:15 pm)

Conformation practice offers handlers the opportunity to work on ring skills and prepare dogs for the show environment. Experienced club members are available to help go over dogs and offer guidance, making this an ideal setting for introducing new dogs to conformation. A Lead Library is available for participants who do not yet have a show lead, or would like to try a different style before purchasing one.

Obedience / Rally (7:30–8:15 pm)

Obedience and Rally practice sessions alternate weekly and provide time to work on skills in a structured setting. These are not formal instruction classes; however, club members are present to offer guidance, answer questions, and support training progress.

Training Tuesday Volunteers Needed!

The Moncton Kennel Club relies on volunteers to help keep our Training Tuesday sessions running smoothly. We’re looking for members who are willing to lend a hand on Tuesday evenings by helping set up the room, ensuring the cash box is ready, welcoming participants, and assisting with clean-up at the end of the night (including putting away chairs and equipment). Volunteering is a great way to support the club, meet fellow members, and contribute to a positive experience for everyone attending.
